Based on Banjo Patterson’s iconic poem, The Man From Ironbark, this short film follows a suburban bogan who ventures into Brunswick to try his luck in the big smoke. His initial enthusiasm is short lived after he encounters an endless parade of inner-city hipsters and he realizes he is a fish out of water.

Eventually, he tries his luck in a local barber shop where he hopes to smarten his appearance in order to fit in. However, when the barber plays a cruel prank at the stranger’s expense, he extracts his revenge through unbridled violence and poetic justice.
